About Odessa Country Club

Odessa Country Club is a private club in Odessa, Texas whose original 18-hole layout, now called The Old Course, was built in the late 1930s by noted Texas architect John Bredemus, routed across flat West Texas terrain with tree-lined fairways and undulating bent-grass greens (par 72, roughly 7,041 yards). The club today operates two 18-hole courses: the traditional Old Course and the links-style Links Course (formerly the separate Mission Dorado club), which hosted Nike Tour events in the 1990s. Some secondary listings instead credit A.W. Tillinghast and date it to the mid-1920s.
