Saratoga National Golf Club

Saratoga National Golf Club opened in 2001 in Saratoga Springs, New York, on the site of a former horse farm. It was designed by Roger Rulewich, who served nearly 34 years as Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s senior design associate and oversaw the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. Rulewich broke ground in 1999 and used the rolling upstate land, wetlands, and mature trees to build a strategic, water-laced layout that flows across bridges and around ponds. The club established itself quickly as one of the region's premier upscale-public daily-fee destinations, pairing the championship course with a polished clubhouse and dining that lean into Saratoga's resort atmosphere. It is regularly cited among the top public courses in New York State and a signature stop for visitors to the Saratoga area.
