About Southbridge Savannah Golf Club

Rees Jones and Keith Evans carved Southbridge out of wooded land on Savannah's west side in the late 1980s, with play opening in 1988-89. It quickly earned a name as one of the city's finest public courses, and Golfweek ranked it among America's top 100 public courses in 1993. Absentee ownership later left bunkers overgrown and greens rough, until a group of members bought the club in October 2019 for $1.5 million and raised another $1 million to bring it back.
