About Augusta Country Club

Grew out of the nine-hole Bon Air Golf Club and became Augusta Country Club after expanding to 18 holes; a second 18 (the Hill course) followed by 1909. In 1927 Donald Ross grassed its greens, rerouted the front nine and rebunkered it. It hosted the Titleholders Championship for 30 years. Brian Silva restored it in 2000 from Ross's plans.
