About Ironwood & Acacia Courses

Kierland Golf Club, the public resort course of The Westin Kierland in north Scottsdale (15636 N Clubgate Dr.), opened in 1996 as 27 holes designed by Scott Miller, a former senior designer for Jack Nicklaus. Its three nines (Ironwood, Acacia and Mesquite) are named for the desert trees on the property and pair into three 18-hole combinations, with Ironwood/Acacia the usual championship pairing. The club is managed by Troon and is certified in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program.
