About Mesquite Course

Mesquite is one of the three nine-hole courses that make up Kierland Golf Club, the public resort golf at The Westin Kierland in north Scottsdale. All 27 holes opened in 1996 to a design by Scott Miller, a former senior designer for Jack Nicklaus. The Mesquite, Ironwood and Acacia nines are named for the desert trees on the property and pair up into three different 18-hole rounds; Mesquite is usually played with either Ironwood or Acacia.
