About Starmount Forest Cc

Starmount Forest Country Club (originally Starmount Golf Club) opened for play in 1930 in Greensboro, attributed to the design duo Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek. It became a PGA Tour stop in 1938, co-hosting the early Greater Greensboro Open with Sedgefield; the course was renovated in 1971 and substantially rebuilt in 1999.
