Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta opened around 2002, designed by Gary Panks for a Shea Homes 55-plus community. It hosted the PGA Tour's Skins Game from 2003 to 2006, the event's last four stagings, with stars including Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. After passing through several owners as Coral Mountain Golf Club, it closed in 2022 and went fallow. Homeowners then took it over, restored the Trilogy name, rebuilt the greens and bunkers, and reopened it in December 2024.
