Princeville Golf Club - Prince Course

The Prince Course opened in August 1990 on Kauai's lush North Shore near Princeville, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design routed through jungle, across deep ravines and mango forest, and along green bluffs with sweeping Pacific views. Measuring more than 7,300 yards from the tips, it earned a fearsome reputation for difficulty and was named Golf Digest's best new resort course of 1990, later spending two decades among America's most acclaimed layouts. Multiple tee sets on every hole let players choose their battle. Left largely untouched for years, it grew overgrown and punishing, prompting a Jones Jr. renovation from January 2011 to March 2012 that restored playability while preserving the wild, dramatic character that made purists revere it. Many consider it among the most scenic and demanding courses in the Hawaiian islands.
